Frequently Asked Questions

01What does WPM mean in Morse code?

02Can it decode Morse code with background noise?

Often, if the beeps stand out from the background noise. Unclear timing is flagged for review; heavy noise can still cause errors.

03Does it work with hand-keyed Morse code?

It can decode many hand-keyed recordings with clear timing. Noise, lingering echoes and irregular spacing can cause errors, so check the result against the recording.

04What audio formats can I upload?

Most modern browsers support WAV and MP3. M4A and OGG support depends on your browser and the audio codec. Files can be up to 10 minutes and 30 MB. For a video, save its sound as an audio file first.
