This policy explains how MorseSnap handles information when you use our Morse code tools.

Your messages

MorseSnap translates text and plays Morse code on your device. Typing or translating a message does not send that message to us. We do not save a history of your translations.

Messages you share

When you use Share, your message is included in the link. Anyone with that link can read it.

Opening the link sends it to our hosting provider. The link may also remain in browser history or the website’s access records. Clearing the input box does not delete links you have already shared.

Your preferences

Your browser remembers your playback speed, tone and volume for your next visit. These saved preferences do not include your messages. You can remove them by clearing MorseSnap’s site data in your browser settings.

Keeping the website running

We use Cloudflare to deliver pages and help keep the website secure. It receives basic connection information, such as your IP address, browser type and the page you visit. This information helps load the website, prevent abuse and investigate problems. Cloudflare may use cookies for security checks when those protections are enabled.

Optional analytics

With your permission, we use the following services to understand visits and improve this website:

  • Google Analytics measures page visits, general location, devices and where visitors come from.
  • Microsoft Clarity creates click heatmaps and recordings of how visitors interact with pages. It receives basic connection information and interaction data. Text inputs and displayed user text are masked in recordings.

These services may use cookies to recognise visits. They load only after you accept analytics. We do not enable advertising features or send your name, email address or account identifier to these services.

We skip analytics on account and payment pages and on visits containing message or other query parameters. You can accept or reject analytics using “Analytics preferences” in the footer. We remember your choice on this device for up to 180 days. Rejecting after acceptance refreshes the page to stop the loaded analytics services; you may also clear existing third-party cookies through your browser settings.

We will update this policy when our practices change. The date above shows the latest revision.
